Wasps

Wasps are flying insects related to bees and ants, known for their slender bodies, narrow waists, and often bright yellow and black markings. They can sting multiple times and are both predators and scavengers, feeding on insects and sweet foods. Wasps play a role in controlling pest populations but can become aggressive if they feel threatened, especially when guarding their nests. They build papery nests from wood fibers mixed with their saliva, typically found in trees, shrubs, or structures. While they are important for ecosystems, their stings can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
