War of the Goths

The War of the Goths (376–382 AD) was a conflict between the Roman Empire and Gothic tribes displaced by invading Huns. The Goths sought refuge within Roman borders but faced harsh treatment, leading to a rebellion that culminated in the Battle of Adrianople (378 AD), where the Goths decisively defeated Roman forces.
