War Neurosis

War neurosis, now known as combat-related trauma or PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), is a psychological condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing extreme stress or violence during war. Symptoms include flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, emotional numbness, and difficulty functioning. It results from the intense mental and emotional impact of exposure to life-threatening situations, which can disrupt normal mental health. While common in soldiers and war survivors, it affects anyone exposed to severe trauma. Treatment typically involves therapy, medication, or a combination, aiming to help individuals process their experiences and regain stability.
