Vulnerable Youth
Vulnerable youth are young people who face specific risks that can hinder their healthy development and well-being. These risks may include poverty, family instability, exposure to violence, or lack of access to education and healthcare. Because of these challenges, they may be more at risk for negative outcomes such as poor mental or physical health, involvement in risky behaviors, or difficulty transitioning into independence. Supporting vulnerable youth involves providing targeted resources, mentorship, education, and safe environments to help them overcome obstacles and build a positive future.
