volumetric video
Volumetric video captures a three-dimensional representation of a real-world scene or person, allowing it to be viewed from any angle. Unlike traditional videos that are flat and two-dimensional, volumetric video creates a digital "light field" so viewers can move around the scene and see it from different perspectives, much like being physically present. This technology uses numerous cameras and sensors to record the subject from multiple angles simultaneously, then processes this data into a detailed 3D model that can be interacted with in virtual or augmented reality environments.
