Volleyball Rules

Volleyball is played by two teams of six on a rectangular court divided by a net. The goal is to score points by sending the ball over the net into the opponent’s court, making it impossible to return. Each team is allowed up to three touches to return the ball, and players must avoid catching or holding it. A point is scored when the ball lands on the opponent’s court or they commit a fault, such as stepping over the line. Matches typically consist of best-of-five sets, with the team winning three sets declared the winner.
