Volkish movements

Volkish movements are political and cultural groups in early 20th-century Germany that promoted ideas of racial purity, national identity, and a belief in the superiority of the German "Aryan" race. These movements emphasized traditional German values, mythology, and often incorporated nationalist and anti-Semitic views. They sought to revive a sense of cultural and racial pride, sometimes advocating for exclusion or suppression of those they viewed as inferior or threatening to their vision of the nation. Volkish ideas heavily influenced the ideology of the Nazi Party and contributed to the oppressive policies during that era.
