
Voladores de Papantla
The Voladores de Papantla are traditional Mexican performers originating from the Totonac people. They perform a ritual involving four or five men who climb a tall, decorated pole and then spin around it while descending on ropes. The ritual symbolizes rain, fertility, and connection to nature.
