VoIP Gateways
A VoIP gateway is a device that connects traditional phone systems to internet-based phone services (VoIP). It converts voice signals from standard telephones or PBX systems into digital data packets that travel over the internet, and vice versa. This allows organizations to make calls using their existing phone infrastructure while taking advantage of cheaper, flexible internet calling. Essentially, a VoIP gateway acts as a translator, bridging the gap between traditional telephony and modern internet-based communication.
