VLA

VLA, or Very Large Array, is a powerful radio telescope facility located in New Mexico. It consists of 27 large dish antennas arranged in a Y-shaped pattern that can move to different positions. By working together, these antennas function as a single, gigantic telescope, allowing scientists to capture detailed images of distant celestial objects such as galaxies, black holes, and star-forming regions. The VLA's ability to observe in radio wavelengths helps us learn about the universe's structure, formation, and behavior beyond what visible light can reveal.
