Visual Fields Assessment
Visual fields assessment is a test that measures what you can see in your peripheral (side) vision and directly in front of you. It helps detect areas of vision loss caused by conditions like glaucoma, strokes, or brain injuries. During the test, you typically look straight ahead and focus on a central point while lights or objects are flashed in different parts of your peripheral vision. The test records any spots where your vision is weaker or missing, providing valuable information for diagnosis and treatment of eye and neurological health.
