Visual Explanations

Visual explanations are tools that help us see how artificial intelligence (AI) models make decisions. They generate images or highlighted areas on images that show which parts influenced the AI's answer. For example, if an AI identifies a cat in a photo, a visual explanation might highlight the cat's face or whiskers to show what the AI focused on. This helps humans understand and trust AI systems by revealing their reasoning process in a clear, visual way, making complex algorithms more transparent and easier to interpret.
