Virus transmission
Virus transmission occurs when infectious particles, called viruses, move from one person or surface to another, allowing the virus to infect new hosts. This can happen through inhaling droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes, touching contaminated surfaces and then touching your face, or close contact like hugging. Some viruses also spread via bodily fluids such as blood or saliva. Effective prevention includes good hygiene, wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and disinfecting surfaces. Understanding transmission helps us take steps to reduce the spread and protect public health.
