The Virginia Archaeological Society (VAS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Virginia’s archaeological heritage. It brings together professionals, students, and enthusiasts to share research, support archaeological projects, and advocate for responsible preservation of historic sites and artifacts across the state. VAS organizes meetings, publishes research, and provides resources to enhance understanding of Virginia’s rich history through its ancient and historic remains.
