Violations of Symmetry

Violations of symmetry in neutrino physics refer to situations where expected symmetrical behaviors do not occur. In particle physics, symmetry often suggests that certain processes should behave the same way when viewed from different perspectives. However, experiments show that neutrinos behave differently depending on their type (or "flavor") and their interactions, indicating a preference for certain processes over others.
