Vietnam Navy
The Vietnam Navy, officially called the Vietnam People's Navy, is the maritime military branch of Vietnam responsible for defending its waters, coastline, and maritime interests. It includes surface ships, submarines, coast guard vessels, and naval personnel trained for patrols, search and rescue, and maritime security. The navy plays a vital role in protecting Vietnam’s fisheries, maritime trade routes, and territorial sovereignty in the South China Sea. Over the years, it has modernized its fleet to enhance regional security and support national defense, reflecting Vietnam’s focus on maintaining control over its maritime domain.
