Vicente Carrillo Fuentes

Vicente Carrillo Fuentes was a prominent Mexican drug lord and leader of the Juárez Cartel, a powerful criminal organization involved in drug trafficking, violence, and corruption along Mexico’s border with the United States. He took control of the cartel after his brother, Amado Carrillo Fuentes, died in 1997. Under his leadership, the cartel was responsible for smuggling large quantities of narcotics, primarily cocaine and marijuana, into the U.S., maintaining significant influence and wealth. He was considered one of Mexico’s most notorious drug traffickers until he was captured by authorities in 2014, facing multiple charges related to organized crime.
