Vibrations

Vibrations are rapid back-and-forth movements of an object, like a guitar string or a speaker cone. In acoustics, these vibrations create sound waves by disturbing the air around them, resulting in pressure changes that our ears perceive as sound. The frequency of the vibrations determines the pitch; higher frequencies produce higher pitches, while lower frequencies result in deeper sounds. The amplitude, or strength of the vibrations, affects the volume; stronger vibrations produce louder sounds. Essentially, vibrations are the foundation of how we create and experience sound in our environment.
