VHF/UHF
VHF (Very High Frequency) and UHF (Ultra High Frequency) are parts of the radio spectrum used for wireless communication. VHF ranges from 30 MHz to 300 MHz, typically used for television broadcasts, FM radio, and some two-way radios. UHF ranges from 300 MHz to 3 GHz and is used for mobile phones, Wi-Fi, GPS, and walkie-talkies. UHF signals can travel through buildings better and cover shorter distances with higher data capacity, while VHF signals travel farther and are better for open areas. Both are essential for various communication services, differing mainly in range and penetration capabilities.
