VHF TV channels

VHF TV channels are part of the radio frequency spectrum used for television broadcasting, mainly occupying frequencies from 30 MHz to 300 MHz. They are divided into two bands: VHF Low (channels 2-6) and VHF High (channels 7-13). These channels transmit TV signals over electromagnetic waves, allowing TVs to receive broadcasts. VHF signals travel long distances and penetrate buildings well, making them suitable for wide-area coverage. Modern digital TV services often still use these channels, but many broadcasts now also utilize higher UHF frequencies, which support higher-quality picture and sound.
