VGA (Video Graphics Array)

VGA (Video Graphics Array) is a standard technology used to connect computers to monitors, enabling visual display. Introduced in the late 1980s, it transmits video signals through a 15-pin connector, carrying information about colors and images. VGA was widely used for many years and supports various resolutions, but it primarily transmits analog signals, which can degrade over long distances. Although newer digital standards have replaced VGA in most applications, it remains a familiar connection type and foundational technology in computer graphics.
