VESTIBULAR

The vestibular system is a part of the inner ear that helps control balance and spatial orientation. It consists of structures that detect head movements and changes in position, allowing us to maintain our equilibrium while standing, walking, or moving. When you tilt your head or turn, the vestibular system sends signals to your brain about your body’s position, helping you coordinate movements and stabilize your vision. This system is crucial for daily activities, and any dysfunction can lead to dizziness, vertigo, or balance disorders.
