Vertical stabilizer

A vertical stabilizer is a fin-like part at the tail of an aircraft that helps keep it flying straight. It provides stability by preventing unwanted side-to-side or yaw movements, much like a boat's rudder. The vertical stabilizer usually has a rudder attached, which the pilot can move to steer the aircraft left or right during flight. Its main role is to ensure the aircraft remains steady and controllable, especially during turns and in turbulent conditions, contributing to safe and efficient flight.
