Vertical Distribution

Vertical distribution refers to how something is spread or arranged across different heights or layers within a given space. In ecology, for example, it describes how plants, animals, or nutrients are distributed at various heights in a forest, from the ground up to the canopy. In other contexts, such as weather or urban planning, it can describe how elements or features change with elevation or altitude.
