Verification Theory

Verification Theory is a philosophical idea that suggests a statement is meaningful only if it can be empirically verified or confirmed through observation or experience. In the context of the Deflationary Theory of Truth, it implies that truth is not a complex property but rather a simple affirmation that a statement corresponds to reality. Essentially, to say a statement is true is just to say it can be checked and proven true through evidence, rather than having a deep or unique essence of its own.
