Venturi Tube

A Venturi tube is a device used to measure the flow rate of a fluid, like water or air. It consists of a pipe that narrows in the middle, creating a constriction. As fluid passes through this narrower section, its speed increases and pressure drops. By measuring the pressure difference between the wide and narrow parts, engineers can determine how much fluid is flowing. This principle relies on the conservation of energy: when velocity increases, pressure decreases, allowing accurate flow measurement without moving parts or sensors inside the flow.
