Venezuelan diaspora

The Venezuelan diaspora refers to the large number of Venezuelans who have left their country, primarily since around 2014, due to economic collapse, political instability, and shortages of basic goods. Many seek safety, stability, and better opportunities abroad, resulting in significant communities of Venezuelans in countries such as Colombia, the United States, Spain, and others. This migration has impacted both Venezuela, through loss of its population and talent, and the host countries, which experience cultural diversity and economic contributions from Venezuelan immigrants.
