Vaulting poles

Vaulting poles are specialized tools used in the sport of pole vaulting to help athletes leap over high bars. Made from strong, lightweight materials like fiberglass or carbon fiber, these poles bend and store energy when the athlete plants the pole into the ground and run towards the bar. As the pole bends, it pushes the vaulter upward and over the bar when released.
