Vasubandhu
Vasubandhu was an influential Indian Buddhist philosopher and scholar from the 4th to 5th century CE. He contributed significantly to Buddhist thought, especially in understanding the nature of mind, perception, and reality. Vasubandhu authored key texts that explore how our thoughts and perceptions shape our experience, emphasizing insight into the nature of emptiness and the mind’s role in experiencing the world. His teachings helped develop Yogācāra, a school of Buddhist philosophy focusing on the importance of mental processes, and continue to influence Buddhist philosophy and practice today.
