Vararuci

Vararuci, also known as Vararuchi, was an ancient Indian scholar and grammarian believed to have lived around the 6th or 7th century CE. He is renowned for his contributions to Sanskrit grammar and linguistics, particularly as a student of the famous scholar Panini. Vararuci authored texts that systematized and explained the rules of Sanskrit language, helping preserve and standardize its usage. His work laid foundational principles for linguistic analysis and is considered a significant milestone in the development of Indian grammatical tradition.
