Values and Identity
Values are the principles or beliefs that guide how we think and act, shaping what we consider important—like honesty, respect, or kindness. Identity is our understanding of who we are, including our qualities, roles, and affiliations, such as being a student, a friend, or a person of integrity. Together, values influence our behavior and decisions, while our identity reflects our sense of self in relation to the world. Both are interconnected; our values help define who we are and how we present ourselves to others.
