Validity challenges

Validity challenges occur when there are doubts about whether a test or study accurately measures what it's supposed to. For example, if a bathroom scale isn't calibrated correctly, its measurements aren’t valid because they don’t truly reflect a person’s weight. In research, validity issues can arise if the methods or tools used don’t accurately capture the true concept being studied, leading to misleading results. Addressing these challenges involves ensuring proper testing procedures and selecting appropriate measurement tools so that the findings are trustworthy and truly reflect what they aim to assess.
