V1

V1, also known as the primary visual cortex, is the part of the brain located at the back of the head responsible for processing visual information received from the eyes. When light enters your eyes, it is converted into electrical signals that travel to V1. This area interprets basic visual features such as edges, lines, angles, and movement. Essentially, V1 acts as the brain's first stop for making sense of what you see, laying the groundwork for recognizing objects, shapes, and scenes around you.
