V Visa

A V Visa is a special U.S. immigration classification designed for certain family members of lawful permanent residents (green card holders). It allows eligible spouses and minor children to stay legally in the U.S. while their immigration applications are being processed, which can sometimes take years. Essentially, it provides a temporary legal status to prevent family separation during the wait. The V Visa is non-immigrant but allows holders to live, work, and study in the U.S. while their immigrant visa petitions are pending.
