V.D. Savarkar

Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, commonly known as V.D. Savarkar, was an Indian nationalist, lawyer, and politician born in 1883. He advocated for Hindu cultural pride and unity, coining the term "Hindutva" to promote Hindu identity as the core of Indian nationalism. Savarkar was involved in revolutionary activities against British rule and wrote influential works on history and politics.
