V.A.C. Therapy System (Vacuum-Assisted Closure)
V.A.C. Therapy, or Vacuum-Assisted Closure, is a treatment that helps wounds heal faster. It uses a special device that places a soft foam dressing over the wound, which is then sealed with a transparent film. The device gently pulls out excess fluid and brings fresh blood to the area by creating a controlled, low-pressure vacuum. This reduces swelling, improves blood flow, and promotes tissue growth. V.A.C. Therapy is effective for complex or slow-healing wounds, such as surgical or traumatic injuries, helping them close more efficiently and reducing infection risk.
