Uzza

Uzza is a biblical figure mentioned in the Old Testament, specifically in 2 Samuel 6 and 1 Chronicles 13. He was a man from the tribe of Judah who, along with others, helped transport the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. When the cart carrying the Ark wobbled, Uzza reached out instinctively to steady it, but this action was considered a violation of sacred protocols. As a result, God perceived his action as irreverent, and Uzza was struck dead. His story underscores the importance of respecting religious commands and the sanctity of holy objects.
