UTLA

UTLA, or United Teachers Los Angeles, is a labor union that represents teachers and education staff in Los Angeles public schools. Its main role is to advocate for better wages, safe working conditions, and quality education for students. UTLA negotiates with school district leaders to secure contracts and policies that support its members and students.
