USS New Jersey (BB-16)
USS New Jersey (BB-16) was a Connecticut-class battleship launched in 1907, serving the U.S. Navy through World War I and beyond. It was a heavily armored warship equipped with large-caliber guns designed for fleet battles. Over its career, it participated in training, neutrality patrols, and later became a museum. Notably, during World War II, it was reactivated and used for fire support in the Pacific. The USS New Jersey exemplifies early 20th-century naval power, combining modernization and reserve service, ending its active duty in 1957, and now serves as a historic vessel and museum in Camden, New Jersey.
