USS Leahy (CG-16)

USS Leahy (CG-16) was a U.S. Navy guided-missile cruiser named after Lieutenant General Louis H. Leahy. Commissioned in 1963, it served primarily in military peacekeeping, convoy protection, and missile defense roles during the Cold War, later participating in various operations including combat support in the Gulf War.
