USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63)

USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) was a United States Navy aircraft carrier active from 1961 to 2009. It served as a mobile naval base, capable of launching and recovering military aircraft to project power, conduct surveillance, and support military operations worldwide. As a supercarrier, it played key roles in events like the Vietnam War, Gulf War, and global peacekeeping missions. With a displacement of about 80,000 tons, it featured extensive flight decks and hangar space, and was staffed by thousands of sailors.
