USS America

USS America (LHA-6) is a large amphibious assault ship used by the U.S. Navy. It functions as a versatile platform that transports Marines, their equipment, and aircraft to support military operations. Designed with a flat deck like an aircraft carrier, it can launch helicopters and tilt-rotor aircraft such as the MV-22 Osprey.
