USICH (U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness)

The U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) is a federal agency that coordinates efforts across different government departments to prevent and end homelessness in the United States. It works with local communities, nonprofits, and other partners to develop strategies, share resources, and implement policies aimed at providing housing, support services, and stability for homeless individuals and families. Established in 1987, USICH's goal is to create a coordinated national response to reduce homelessness and ensure everyone has access to safe, affordable housing.
