USERRA

USERRA, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, is a law protecting the jobs of military service members. It ensures that if someone leaves their civilian job to serve in the military, they can return to their job or a similar position without losing benefits or seniority. The law also prohibits discrimination based on military service.
