Urodela
Urodela, also known as salamanders, are amphibians characterized by their long bodies, tails, and usually smooth, moist skin. They have both lungs and the ability to absorb oxygen through their skin, which requires them to live in damp environments. Urodela are divided into aquatic and terrestrial species, with many species spending part of their lives in water and part on land. They typically have four limbs and are known for their regenerative abilities, such as regenerating limbs or tails. They play important roles in ecosystems as predators of insects and other small creatures.
