URL Structure
A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is the web address you type into a browser to access a specific webpage. It has different parts: the “scheme” (like http or https) indicates the protocol; the “domain” (like example.com) points to the website’s location; and the “path” (like /aboutus) directs to a specific page or section. Sometimes, there are “query parameters” (like ?id=123) that pass information to the site. Overall, a URL systematically guides your browser to find and display the exact content you’re requesting on the internet.
