URI

A Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) is a string of characters that uniquely identifies a resource on the internet, such as a webpage, image, or file. Think of it as an address that tells your browser where to find something online. A URI can be a URL (Uniform Resource Locator), which specifies both the location and how to access the resource, or a URN (Uniform Resource Name), which names a resource without specifying its location. Essentially, URIs help us locate and access digital content reliably across the web.
