Uralic languages
Uralic languages form a language family primarily spoken in northern Eurasia, including Finnish, Hungarian, and Estonian. They originated from a common ancestor language believed to have been spoken thousands of years ago in the Ural Mountains region. These languages share features like vowel harmony and agglutinative grammar, where words are built from multiple morphemes. Uralic languages are distinct from Indo-European languages and have preserved unique linguistic traits. They reflect a diverse cultural and historical heritage of the peoples across northern Europe and western Siberia.
