UPR System
The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) is a process conducted by the United Nations to assess the human rights records of all 193 UN member countries every four years. During this review, each country's government presents its human rights situation, and other nations provide feedback, recommendations, and critiques. The aims are to promote accountability, encourage improvements, and share best practices in human rights. The UPR fosters dialogue and cooperation, allowing countries to learn from each other and improve their human rights standards and practices.
