An upper bound is a limit that defines the maximum value or level something can reach. In mathematics and problem-solving, it sets the highest possible outcome or amount, ensuring the actual result does not exceed this point. For example, if a building's weight limit is 10,000 pounds, that is the upper bound; the building shouldn't carry more than that.
